MOROCCO AN OPEN BOOK

Located at the North-western point of the African continent, Morocco has two maritime frontages, on the Atlantic Ocean in the West and the Mediterranean in North.
Its surface is of 710.850 km2 and its population is 26 million inhabitants.
Such Morocco appears which, on a side, is only with one ten kilometers of Europe and, other, sees its borders losing itself in sands of the desert.
In the medium, the assembly lines of Rif and Atlas (the Means, Top and the Anti-Atlas) block the landscape with tops like Toubkal (highest of North Africa: 4.165 m).
From this diversity of the grounds is born the large variety from the Moroccan landscapes, which are among most beautiful of the world. But these chains were in the past an obstacle with the communication between North and the South. Still nowadays, there are considerable differences between the various areas which make that one has the impression to visit several countries in only one.
